Today I read Revelation 1 and my favorite verse is 11
“I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last and what you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus to Smyrna to Pergamos to Thyatira to Sardis to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
This is my favorite verse because I remember that it was the Lord that caused me to see the many ways that you (Christians) can segway a conversation into the gospel using objects in your environment and He told me to write them in a book. And I know that He wants me to send it to the churches and to the Christians in the churches, so that they will read it and be inspired and encouraged and know how to overcome fear and lack of knowing how to witness to the Lost. I know that this is a book for the last days and I am trusting in the Lord that He will help me promote this book by His grace and favor for His glory to help Christians witness to the lost to get people saved before Jesus comes again. I know that time is short and I’m doing all that I can. Lord, help me. The book is called: “I Want to Witness But What Do I Say?”. And you can buy it at:
Today I read Jude 20 and these are my favorite verses:
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
This verse written about 2,000 years ago is current for today. The “certain men” back then are the liberals today who are ungodly and unholy, selfish and condemning of others and while doing so, they condemn themselves. We must be bold and stand up for the lord. We must be bold and stand up for prayer in schools, pro-life, godly judges who will uphold the Constitution which upholds our Holy Bible, marriage between a man and a woman and return back to the Lord. We need Revival.
Today I read 3 John and these are my favorite verses:
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
These are my favorite verses because there is so much fake news out there in the Media nowadays. There is nothing fake about the Bible. It is the TRUTH and His Truth never changes. Jesus Christ is the Truth and He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. John 8:32 says 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Yes, the truth will set you free. I rejoice as well when people walk in God’s truth.
Today I read 2nd John and my favorite verse is:
12 Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
This is my favorite verse because there is no subsitute for hugs and real contact with people and great conversations in person.
Today I read 1 John 5 and my favorite verse is:
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
This is my favorite verse because it is all about God’s love. And Romans 8:1 says – Now there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit does not condemn us when we do wrong, but He does convict us of our righteousness, which enables us to receive God’s grace to live righteously, and to change our ways and behavior from unrighteousness living to godly righteous ways of living and acting for the glory of God – and for the peace and harmony with other believers as well.
Today I read 1 John 4 and my favorite scripture is: 4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
This of course means that the Holy Spirit in me is GREATER than all the demons in the world. We Christians have authority over them all.
This scripture reminds me of: John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Sometimes when we serve the Lord we have to make sacrifices, but it is worth it to follow Him. The Lord God who made us, healed us, delivered us, called us, saved us, and gave us His peace with God is so very worthy! Others even sacrifice their lives becoming martyrs, but they will be rewarded in heaven. Romans 8:28 All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
Today I read 1 John 3 and this is my favorite scripture 1-2:
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”
I was thinking about “Black Lives Matter” today and I hope that they will understand that their lives matter because GOD loves them. They may not feel like they matter because their Dad was not there for them. many do not even know who their father was. Even Colin Kaepernick was adopted. His mother gave him up for adoption I read and his father was an African American man. That is all it says. I wonder if Colin has ebver met his natural father? Probaby not. Sigh. This is an epidemic in black circles…sons who do not know their father. It is sad. I think this is the REAL root reason for the anger behind everything now. They grew up feeling like they did not matter because they had fathers who did not pay attention to them, did not play with them and encourage them and be there for them. I pray that they find Christ and realize that they do matter.
1 John 3: 1 says: Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Yes, Black Lives Matter – Many black men are not good fathers – because of divorce or they were not married in the first place, they are not there for their sons. Therefore their sons grow up and they feel like they do not matter. They find comfort in other women thru lust – or illicit sex – instead of being responsible and waiting to have sex until they get married….This whole cycle needs to stop. Men need to to be married and then engage in sexual intercourse with their wives. Then they need to be faithful and holy men of God and keep their marriage vows. You men may not have had a good father figure in your life, but you can read good Christian books from Focus on the Family to help you understand how to be a good father. There are lots of good Christian books out there about how to discipline your children and be a good father. These generational curses need to be broken. And then, I encourage you, men, to be there for your sons – especially during their teenage years. And believe in them; encourage them that they are going to make it in life; that they have what it takes! And encourage them with scriptures from the Word of God – that God does love them and He has a plan and a purpose for their lives ….and then they will understand. yes, that black lives matter
